Refund Policy

 

At Journey Intels, we aim to provide transparency and ease for all cancellation and refund requests. However, refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective airlines, hotels, or service providers involved. Please carefully review the policy below:

 

  1. Cancellation Policy
  • Charges: Cancellation charges, as specified at the time of booking, will apply for cancellations initiated by the client or the service provider.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Convenience fees, special service premiums (e.g., “Zero-Cancellation-Fee” protection), and insurance fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
  • Non-Refundable Bookings: Certain bookings, such as last-minute deals or promotional offers, may be entirely non-refundable as per the provider’s terms.
  • Partial Cancellations: Some bookings may not allow partial cancellations based on the service provider’s policy.
  • Special Considerations: Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of departure may need to be handled directly with the airline or service provider.
  1. Refund Policy
  • Processing Timeline: Refund timelines will vary based on the policies of the service provider:
    • Refund timelines are estimated and will be communicated at the time of the cancellation request.
    • Refunds for airline tickets may take 7–14 business days after the funds are received from the airline.
    • Refunds for hotels and other services may take up to 14 business days after confirmation from the provider.
  • Delayed Refunds: For bookings older than six months, refunds may be credited to your Journey Intels wallet, which can be used for future bookings. Wallet credits are non-transferable to bank accounts.
  • Dependency: All refunds are subject to the processing policies and timelines of the respective airlines, hotels, or other service providers.
  1. Credit Shell Policy
  • Airline Credit Shells:
    Certain airlines, at their discretion, may issue refunds as Credit Shells, redeemable on their portals before the expiry date. Journey Intels is not liable for the issuance or redemption of these Credit Shells.
    Any disputes or concerns related to Credit Shells must be resolved directly between the client and the airline.
  1. Amendments to Bookings
  • Modification Requests: Journey Intels assists with amendments to bookings wherever possible. Additional charges may apply, as determined by the service provider.
  • Rescheduling Impact: Any changes to travel dates or itineraries may impact the cancellation terms of the original booking.
  1. No-Show and Unutilized Bookings
  • Refund requests for no-show or unused services must be submitted within 90 days of the original travel or check-in date. Requests made after this period will not be eligible for refunds.
  1. Force Majeure
  • In cases of unforeseen events, such as natural disasters or airline insolvency, refunds will depend on the policies of the service providers. While Journey Intels will strive to secure favorable outcomes for our clients, we cannot guarantee refunds in such circumstances.
  1. How to Cancel or Request Refunds
  • General Cancellation: Cancellations or refund requests can be initiated by contacting your dedicated relationship manager or through your Journey Intels account. An estimated refund timeline will be provided during the cancellation request process.
  • Cancellation Within 24 Hours of Departure: If you need to cancel tickets within 24 hours of your scheduled departure, we recommend contacting the airline directly for immediate assistance. Afterward, please send your cancellation request to us via the Journey Intels website so that we can process your refund.
  1. Policy Supersession
  • This Cancellation and Refund Policy overrides any conflicting terms mentioned elsewhere on the Journey Intels website. In case of discrepancies, the terms outlined in this policy shall prevail.
